Digital Intimacy

2019–ongoing

The screen promised connection. It delivered a new vocabulary of rejection.
This series translates the ordinary humiliations of contemporary dating into textile form: unanswered messages, loading screens, desperate search queries, profiles that vanish overnight. Woven and tufted by hand, these works slow down what was designed to disappear: the fragile digital traces of intimacy attempted, failed, and archived by algorithms.
